If you are looking to join the iPhone faithful this festive season you might want to pop over to your nearest RadioShack as of today as RadioShack is running a promotion for one week only that will see the iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS get a price discount.
According to an article over on the Boy Genius Report by Zach Epstein, RadioShack has announced that from today the 4th of December though to the 11th of December the Apple iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS will be offered with a $50 discount on the price.
Apparently the handsets being offered in the discount promo are brand new and not refurbished handsets, but do require the customer to sign up for the usual two year agreement. Thus for that one week limited period the iPhone 3GS will cost $49.99, the 16GB iPhone 4 costs $149.99 and the 32GB iPhone 4 costs $249.99.
RadioShack also have a “Trade & Save” promo running whereby owners of the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS can trade in their old device and receive a credit of $75 for the iPhone 3G and $125 for the iPhone 3GS. So say if you trade in your iPhone 3GS and opt for the 32GB iPhone 4 the device would actually cost you just $124.99, sounds a good deal to me.
