iPhone Alarm Clock Problems: 2011 to 2012 Achilles heel

Happy New Year and all the best, but in some cases it has not been a great start to 2012, especially those that own the Apple iPhone. We are talking about the iPhone alarm clock problems that have occurred when 2011 met 2012, this is the case of Achilles’ heel.

There have been many issues with the iPhone, a few customers complained about the battery life, and now we have entered a new year and users are finding out about the alarm clock issue. When the clocks struck one minute past midnight January 1st, customers were finding that when they set a one off alarm it was failing to activate, this is very much similar to what is known as ‘daylight savings’ that a few months back.

Redmond Pie has called the alarm clock issues “The iPhones Kyrptonite’, quite a catchy name if you ask us, the problem only seems to happen when users set a one time alarm and those using running iOS version 4.2.1.

Apple knows of this and issued a statement mentioning, that they are aware of the issue and that it is related to non-repeating alarms set for January 1 or 2, they also said that users can set recurring alarms for those dates, and by doing so all will work properly beginning January 3. Now seeing as today is January 3, 2012, we would like to ask if all is running ok now with your alarm clocks?
