iPhone 5 unlock & iOS 6 Jailbreak, SafeRa1n Scam

Now we try and report all the official news as much as we can when its comes to the iPhone 5 and iOS 6, and today we have some more news in from readers about SafeRa1n covering the iPhone 5 unlock and iOS 6 Jailbreak, the new Apple handset and operating system have been on the market now for just over a month and we would like to know if this is all a scam or not.

We do not jailbreak our Apple devices so we cannot tell you if this is a scam or not, but lets give you what we know so far and what we think. There is a new application over on safera1n.com called the SAP Shield v1.7 for $25, which claims to unlock the iPhone 5 and jailbreak iOS 6. If customers purchase this new package it will give access to a members download area so that you can proceed in doing the above.

Apparently it can unlock the iPhone 2G, 3G, iPhone 4, 4S and the latest 5, it can also jailbreak all these firmware versions; 4.2.1, 4.1.1, 3.1.3, 3.1.2, 4.3.1, 4.3.2, 4.3.3, 5, 5.1.1 and 6.0. It will also and we say apparently work with Telefonica, Vodafone, Telstra, Rogers, AT&T, TIM, Fido, T-Mobile, Orange, O2 and so many more.

The site above also has step-by-step instructed videos on how to unlock and jailbreak the iPhone 4 and 4S running iOS 6, Official Wire reports that you will get a 100% free iphone that will run on any carrier as well as getting your hands on free apps etc. They also mention that there will be no traces of an unlock or jailbreak, which means you can go back to your previous method if you do not like this new one.

If you have $25 and would like to do the iPhone 5 unlock & iOS 6 Jailbreak method then head on over to safera1n.com, personally we say sit back and think about what you are about to do.

We recommend you read our previous article covering the iOS 6 untethered jailbreak, this is still on the cards but there is bad news for iPad owners. Even though it is now illegal to jailbreak iPhone’s we do recommend you ask around to see what is real and what is not, personally we would wait for the official release instead of using third party sites like the one above. It is of course entirely up to you if you go ahead and purchase the SAP Shield v1.7 for $25 but experience says “BE CAREFUL”.

There are many iPhone users out there clued up, but then there are many that have not got a clue about this sort of thing but still wants to unlock and jailbreak, just do not fall into the trap of parting with cash when you can get the official release for free.
