Price
The HTC Desire 816 was priced at the launch for India at Rs. 23,990 while the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 was launched at Rs. 22,999. Prices are likely to be found lower dependent on retailer, but as the Galaxy Grand 2 has been available for a few months this is likely to have higher price reductions than the new Desire 816.

This account doesn’t factor in the designs or many features of these phones but from the specs alone there are some similarities. However, the HTC Desire 816 has some advantages over the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 including a faster processor, higher expandable storage, and better camera set-up.

As the price difference for India is not too significant it may be worth paying a bit more for the Desire 816, but we’d like to hear what you think. Are you more likely to choose the HTC Desire 816 or the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2?
