Zio M6000 brings Kyocera back to Smartphone market

An interesting article over on news.softpedia.com in relation to Kyocera Communications recent announcement as they launch the Zio M6000.

The company have announced their first mobile phone which is powered by Google’s Android operating system, the Kyocera Zio M6000. It was announced at the CTIA Wireless 2010 trade show in Las Vegas.

It has a very elegant design as well as a highly intuitive user interface. It is expected to become available during the second quarter of this year. The specs show that it will include a CDMA2000 1 x EV-DO rev. support for Wi-Fi networks a 3.5 inch touch screen display that has WVGA resolution which is also apparently motion enhanced.

It is also said to have a 3.2 megapixel camera with video recording capabilities there is support for Google Maps, 256MB of user internal memory with a microSD card with support for up to 32GB of additional storage.
