ZTE have been coming up with some very reasonably priced devices, and there have been plenty of people waiting for the new ZTE Nubia Z9 smartphones to be made official. That has now happened and the ZTE Nubia Z9 Max and Nubia Z9 Mini prices and more have been announced. We have that information coming right up.
The new handsets are both dual SIM and have an attractive design and premium build featuring a metal frame. The Z9 Max has a glass reverse while the Mini Z9 has a patterned plastic back with optional back cover styles that include denim and bamboo. We’ll begin with the specs of the flagship Nubia Z9 Max and these tie in with previously leaked specs. This is the superior of the two handset, and as you might expect it’s also the largest.
Z9 Max specs include a Snapdragon 810 processor, a 5.5-inch Full HD display, 3GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage that’s expandable via microSD to 128GB. It has a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 lens and 4K video capture, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, and 2900 mAh battery. Its dimensions are 154.8mm x 76.6mm x 7.9mm and it weighs 165g. The phone runs the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop operating system with ZTE’s Nubia UI 2.8. It comes with a full suite of connectivity options including 4G LTE support. The Nubia Z9 Max price for China has been given as CNY 2,499, and that equates to around $402, £269 or Rs. 25,240.
Now we’ll move on to the Nubia Z9 Mini mid-ranger, which has a Snapdragon 615 processor, a 5-inch Full HD display, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage, also expandable to 128GB. Like its bigger brother it has a 16-megapixel rear camera, 4K video capture, an 8-megapixel front-facing unit, and 2900 mAh battery. It measures 141.3mm x 69.8mm x 8.2mm and weighs in at 147g, and like the bigger Z9 it runs Android 5.0.2 with Nubia 2.8. This one also has LTE support and the price of the Nubia Z9 Mini has been set at CNY 1,499. That’s around $241, £162 or Rs. 15,130.
