Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.2.2 update teased with improvements

The Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 are currently waiting to be upgraded to the latest version of the Android operating system, and when Samsung does finally press the button to push the new software out we will then have to wait for various carriers to release their versions of the firmware. In the meantime the Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update has been teased again in a video following some improvements.

A pre-release version of the operating system has appeared in a video that was originally seen last month, but SamMobile has decided to push it out again after some changes and improvements have been made, and it is advised that only users who are confident enough try and install this firmware onto their handset.

Originally it was thought the new firmware would be released during this month but then reports emerged that it had been delayed, and has now been given a July or August release estimate. As you can see in the video there are features that have been ported over from the Galaxy S4 which is something Samsung promised with the launch of the device.

The new firmware is still undergoing testing and this version is unfinished so will contain some bugs so only install it at your own risk, but some of the changes include new UI settings, new version of S Voice, new screen modes, and new options in the notification centre.

This news though must mean the final release of the software must be getting closer so owners of the Galaxy S3 can look forward to seeing the official release.

Will you install this firmware or wait for the official version?
