Samsung Galaxy S3 the specs it should have

In 2011, South Korean company Samsung gave us the Galaxy S II that was to prove a popular choice amongst consumers, allowing the handset to sell over and above the company’s expectations. Setting a trend with its specifications, Samsung have now bought out other handsets including the Galaxy Nexus and the Galaxy Note. In the pipeline, we can also expect to see the new Galaxy S III with new and improved features, although as to its official announcement still remains a mystery.

Initially when rumours started to surface surrounding the new Galaxy S III or S3 if you prefer, it was thought that the handset would be showcased at the forthcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) this month, this has changed with news that the device may not be seen into at least April time. So what specifications are rumoured to be included and are they in fact what we would like to see?

Just a matter of days ago, we brought you news that a new concept had been spotted with possible specs, and we have to agree that the features are needed in order to give the company any headway from rival handsets such as Apple’s iPhone 5 due to make an appearance in 2012.

According to concept-phones.com, the new S3 will include Android’s new Ice Cream Sandwich OS, likely to include TouchWiz 5.0 user interface, 4.65-inch Super Amoled Plus HD display, massive 12MP rear camera and 3.2 to the front, quad-core Exynos processor, 2GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage with a battery possibly reaching that of a 3000mAh.

Another feature possibly benefiting the new S3 will be an S Note app, allowing the Stylus currently used on the Note to be used effectively on the S3.

Tell us what your thoughts are on the new Samsung Galaxy S III (S3)? What should the new handset have? Are you currently an S II phone user?
