The following video won’t be for the fainthearted as the Samsung Galaxy S5 undergoes some extreme testing while subjected to a hammer and scratch test.

Yesterday we had a drop test video for you that was looking at the durability of the Galaxy S5 vs. the S4, but today’s one again from TechSmartt is focussing on the S5 as it gets some serious punishment. The handset is brand new, and the video begins to see how the device stands up going against a key.

The handset does quite well considering the key is scratched across the display and rear of the device, but the sides don’t do as well. We then move onto a kitchen knife and the screen again does well considering what is going on.
