Smart Communications along with Nokia have introduced the Nokia N96 in the Philippines by holding a prestigious launch event attended by several Nokia Philippines and Smart Communications officials.

Smart Communications launched its Mobile TV brand MyTV back in July of last year and has been offering it for free due to the National Telecommunications Commission not placing any guidelines on mobile TV in the Philippines yet.

The Nokia N96 will be the 3rd mobile TV phone Nokia has launched in the Philippines, the other two being the Nokia N92 and the Nokia N77, all of which are offered by Smart Communications with their subscribers gaining free mobile TV at lease for now.
