According to the guys over at product-reviews, they have received a tip off from one of their readers, that the Apple iPhone OS 3.0 is to be released on the 12th of June 09.

I’m not too sure just how reliable their source is, but things are around to kind of support this latest release date rumour, such as Apple allowing web-stores and street stores to sell unlocked Apple iPhones.

This sort of manoeuvre often happens when Apple wants to shift old stock in advance of launching a new model. Apparently the source of this latest iPhone OS 3.0 release gets their info via a buddy that works for AT&T, so who knows they could be right.
