Would finger recognition phones stop mobile robberies and thefts?

Mobile phone thefts are getting worse and needs to stop, this is why UK Home Secretary John Reid has put it across to Sony and Apple and other manufacturers to attend his crime fighting summit.

Released last month at a policy review was fingerprint activated MP3 players which was proposed and they say this should be implemented on iPods and expensive mobile phones. Mobile phone street robberies are getting worse, but “Would finger recognition phones stop mobile robberies and thefts?

    i got my mobile stolen a couple of months ago,it had alot of security on it-pin code,security code so i dont think any one could have got into it and it was cancelled anyway but mobiles will always be stolen just because of the sheer value of a handset these days
