Now here’s a strange thing, it appears that the North American version of HTC’s Touch Diamond, the one supposedly heading for Sprint, just may not be a Touch Diamond?
It seems that HTC have this “precious stone fetish” when it comes to the Touch Diamond, and regional versions are to be named after other precious stones.
Therefore the word is now that the North American version will hence fourth be dubbed the HTC Quar100, as in Quartz, and thanks to the WiFi Interoperability Certficate we now know about it.
So watch out anywhere else that might be expecting the HTC Touch Diamond as you will need a precious gem of your own, a Ruby, Emerald, or Opal perhaps?
