At Photokina this year Pretec has launched the 64GB and 100GB CF memory cards, thrashing the previous record of a 48GB CF option.

These new ruggedized and metal housed cards can achieve up to 35mbps access speeds, which means they are superb for high end cameras and mobile phones.

Furthermore Pretec gain the read/write speed record as well by releasing the super high speed 333X 32GB and 50GB CF cards which means easier and faster loading and unloading of images.

These new high capacity cards also allow the user the option to create a SATA hard drive by using all the cards together to bring 256GB on a 2.5 inch drive, and the cost of these cards will be up to £400.00.
