Google Street View and other features hidden within iPhone 2.2

Apple always seem to be hiding unannounced stuff in with their firmware updates for the Apple iPhone, but they are taking further care of hiding stuff in their beta releases like the most recent listed “compatibility testing” in the release notes to developers.

But hidden within the firmware iPhone 2.2 beta Apple has actually made some underlying changes to the iPhone’s framework which include…

Support for Google Street View for Google Maps…an address of the iPhone’s keyboard that allows users to disable the iPhone’s auto-correction…and support for Japanese emoji icons that are popular with Japanese phones.
