It appears there is a rumour that Wal-Mart will be selling the Google Android T-Mobile G1 smartphone at a lower price; apparently the top ten Wal-Mart stores in each market will get the G1 on November 24th ready for the Christmas run up.

This shouldn’t really come as a surprise, big name stores like Wal-Mart were bound to get the G1 in their stores before Christmas, and wireless sales have proved bountiful for the companies.

Wal-Mart will obviously attract customers by offering a discount on the G1 so customers don’t just go direct to T-Mobile, and the rumour is that Wal-Mart will be discounting the Goggle Android G1 to $148.88 with activation and on a 2 year agreement.
