    Cravity, gravity. Nice. lol.

I’m rly confused though, it’s supposed to come FREE with tmobile, as it says in big letters, right, what is the 50 dollar fee for then? Rly lost.

Nice review though, covered everything I wanted to know, since it’s just a basic phone with nothing more to give but the qwerty keyboard. Thanks =)

i really want this phone 2. it looks really cool. Its a good price 2. Even though i would have to pay 50 dollars cause i already have t-mobile. if its free to new t-moble customers thats probably y its out of stock. when it comes back in im definatly getting it. aout time t- mobile got something new.

i got the lime one. the fones cool for a couple weeks then its just plain. i defenetly was hyped up to get it, but after i explored it it wasnt as great as i thought and hoped.the keyboard is nice, but if ur okay with t9 DO NOT GET THIS FONE. if ur a first time fone buyer this is a good one, minimal features, not the fastest, and a full keyboard for fast texting.

ok, I just ordered this phone on Feb. 5th and it still hasn’t come yet, is it cuz the phone said out of stock on the website? it’s suppose to take up to 7 days and that would be 2morrow so im wondering if they even shipped it out yet

  6. I ordered this, on Feb 9th. And I was a little nervous to order because reviews said bad phone call quality & that it doesn’t have a lot of features. I read somewhere that you cant take text messaging noises off or something and that will bug me, because my Razr is usually on sient or vibrate the whole time. But I’ll see in a week! I’m stoked. & the video was by far the best that I’ve seen. It let you see the phone on and go in depth. Samsung Gravity <3

I would like to know if there is a way to text silently instead of it beeping everytime u hit a key? I do not like having the keys make noise everytime I hit one. Is it possible to silence it?

  8. I just ordered the fone and i’m rly exited. almost all of my BFFs haf it n they say its absolutly GREAT. i can’t wait for it to come does n-e-1 kno how long it takes 4 it 2 com??? tnx

Other than the battery life, this phone is awesome. I love all the features and once you get used to them, it is a pretty user friendly phone. The battery life is pretty bad. Definitely a drawback to anyone not willing to carry their wall and/or car charger with them. Texting is fairly easy and the size is not too big or small. Overall, I would recommend this phone but beware of the battery life.

  10. We just got this phone free from T-Mobile with upgrade – the $50+$3 is applied to ur bill, rebate card is on its way. The dark gray with lime green accents is beautiful and looks far richer than the photos. Nice to have a QWERTY keyboard at last to make texting easy. That said, I cannot figure out how to take the text messaging sounds off! The keypad sounds does not even affect it. If it is going to beep with every letter I am going to send it back and get the G1. Also, the battery life really IS awful. I am a low user and its dead within a few hours. I like my old phone, the t-619, better if I can’t turn off the text sound. I want very much to like this phone and was excited to get it. If anyone finds how to quiet the texting, plz email csr@dnashopper dot com
    Thanks!

Hey guys! I have a BRAND NEW and UNLOCKED Samsung Gravity for sale on my Ebay in the blue & aqua. I used it for less than 24 hours, made one call and sent a couple text messages but I decided on sticking with my iPhone. This phone is AMAZING, has amazing call quality and is just perfect all around! Go check it out if you’re interested!

I have had this phone since December. Works pretty well. It’s hard to get the phone to recognize the 4GB microSD card, but if you reformat it an zero out everything, then FAT32 the drive again, it eventually recognizes it and you can use it with the phone. My biggest complaint is that I can’t find any way to install my old java games on this phone. It won’t play anything you don’t buy from t-mobile. So if you like games, this is not the phone for you. Otherwise, it’s OK. I recharge it every night so the battery is OK for me.

I just got the samsung gravity and so far it’s a pretty ok phone. I’m a total phone freak[I get a new cell every couple months probably, and I get teased about it often. lol] But anyways, I don’t know what people are talking about the call quality? It sounds great to me, loud and clear. Better than my last blackberry pearl anyways. But signal wise it kind of sucks.. I don’t get signal in place I would normally get with my other phones.. The battery life; it does die quickly but that’s just a samsung thing. If you want a long lasting battery go for something different, like a blackberry or something. Blackberry’s last for at least two days and I’m always on my phone. They QWERTY keyboard is GREAT[I love QWERTY’s:)] but the space bar drives me nuts.. I end up double spacing a lot. And it drives me crazy that I have to wait while the message sends because with a pearl I never had to, but that’s what I get for buying a non-smartphone. For a basic phone it’s pretty cool though. It’s a really good looking phone. Nice keyboard and layout. Nice screen quality. Easy to undedrstand. [Never even peeked at the manual] But I really don’t like that I’m stuck with 4 really irritating text tones.. Especially since I text A LOT more than I call. That’s why I got this phone actually. But besides that and the whole backlight turning off and screen locking so quickly, I love the Samsung Gravity for being so plain and basic. It’s a great phone to use for just calls and texts.
