Samsung America and Verizon Wireless have announced the addition of the Samsung Renown to the Verizon Wireless portfolio and will be available in business sales channels, online and telesales on November the 19th and in Verizon stores on December the 1st.
The Samsung Renown is a clamshell form factor that offers the user a 2.0 megapixel camera with NightShot technology, quad-band GSM, 96 x 96 pixels TFT external display, 240 x 320 pixels TFT internal display, camcorder video, text messaging and IM messaging options, Bluetooth.
The Samsung Renown supports Verizon’s V CAST Music Rhapsody and V CAST Video services in the US, allowing the user to transfer music and video from their PC to the Renown, and allows access to in excess of 5 million songs.
