Three of the biggest smartphones available are the BlackBerry Storm, BlackBerry Bold and of course the Apple iPhone 3G, and in the video below we have a comparison of the sizes and styles between them, unfortunately without any commentary but it does give you a visual of the three.
I took some time to scroll through the comments on this video over at YouTube, and what surprised me was the virtual loathing between BlackBerry owners and iPhone owners, and just how passionately they slag each others rival off.
Obviously there is some discord between BlackBerry fans and iPhone fans, but does this discord run so deep? My personal view is a phone is a phone is a phone, and what is presumed to be the best mobile phone today will probably be ousted in a few months time by whatever new comes along.
It does however appear to me that many associate new mobile handsets as an “iPhone killer,” yet the Apple iPhone is obviously the biggest success so far, so why is it that there is this desire to see the “iPhone killer” arrive, be it from BlackBerry or any other manufacturer?
