Apple iPhone 3G goes to Taiwan on December 13th

The Apple iPhone 3G will be hitting Taiwan on December the 13th according to Chundhwa Telecom, and along with that announcement, Chunghwa Telecom announced a few prices and plans.

Chunghwa has stated they will sell the Apple iPhone exclusively for an unspecified period and will be available for NT$1,049 which is roughly $31.00, monthly fee based on a 2 year contract. Or for a free Apple iPhone 8GB a 2 year contract with monthly fee of NT2,549 about $76.00.

Otherwise they can of course simply purchase the Apple iPhone 3G straight from Chunghwa Telecom. Pre-sales in Taiwan have begun and run through to the 10th of December.
