Nokia has launched Nokia Messaging, a service which mobilises consumer email and IM solutions on Nokia mobile handsets, and will give millions of Nokia user’s access to email and IM accounts from Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Mail and Yahoo! Messenger, Google Talk and Gmail, and AOL Mail along with thousands of IPS’s globally.
Furthermore, Nokia has also launched the online portal of Mail on Ovi which allows user’s of PCs to create an account and access Ovi email as well as gain cross access to Ovi services with one account.
Nokia Messaging will launch in Q1 of 09 in the UK, Germany, Singapore, Spain, Finland, Australia, the Netherlands and Venezuela with select countries following later in the year. The beta Ovi Mail launches in December 08 with 12 languages.
