Video: Apple iPhone gains copy and paste from Safari to Mail

Under: Apple iPhone, News Date: December 12th, 2008

I think the most moaned about lack of feature with the Apple iPhone has to be the absence of copy & paste. Well now apparently at last someone has come up with a way to copy and paste text from Safari to Mail and between web pages and its legal and no software install required.

Pastebud, works with 2 applications Mail and Safari and gets past the Apple iTunes App Store’s terms via a combination of Javascript bookmarks and web services.

Although this remedy isn’t full copy and paste it does add another dimension to what most iPhoner want to accomplish 99 percent of the time, and that’s to copy and paste into Mail. Pastebud have been testing for the last week and are in the process of finishing their web site before launch.
