Good news for the iPhoner who has been waiting to unlock the Apple iPhone 3G, the iPhone Dev Team has announced an unlock solution codenamed “yellowsn0w” is now complete and is being prepared and packaged into an iPhoner friendly app.
Yes iPhoners the Apple iPhone 3G has been cracked and unlocked, and the iPhone Dev Team is looking at a release date of New Year’s Eve 08.
Although this iPhone 3G unlock method is for Apple iPhone 3G’s that have 2.11.07 baseband or previous. There will also be a streamed live demo of the unlock before Christmas and streamed via the Qik application.
So there you have it iPhoners a nice New Year’s present from the iPhone Dev Team.
