T-Mobile drops upgrade fee for foreseeable future

Under: Google Android, News Date: December 19th, 2008

At last some good news of T-Mobile customers, remember some time ago T-Mobile decided to get somewhat greedy and began charging an $18.00 upgrade fee to upgrade your mobile phone? Well all that apparently is now ended and will be allied to all outlets and online.

Apparently this also applies to those who have been waiting to upgrade to the Google Android T-Mobile G1 handset. However; the word is this offer is to cover the festive season but has no ending date, so this could be seen as T-Mobile thanking loyal customers.

But then, if T-Mobile didn’t put the upgrade fee in place in the first place and cause such negativity when the G1 was first launched, there wouldn’t have been a question of loyalty would there.

T-Mobile is such a crappy in some aspects: phone selection, signal strength, etc. A part of me wishes that the company will go bankrupt in the near future.
