If you want to find out what’s coming in the mobile phone world, you can always rely on the FCC for some good information on what one can expect to be buzzing round the net waves.

It was at the FCC on the day Palm announced their latest and greatest Palm Pre that a Palm handset showed up at the FCC, and one could have easily assumed it was the Pre.

However on further looking it is actually the Palm Treo Pro CDMA version which is rumoured to be heading for Sprint. Wonder why Palm didn’t announce this at CES 2009 along with the Pre; one can assume any other announcement form Palm about another handset over than the Pre would have been overshadowed.
