The word is HTC are set to launch a new mobile phone that will essentially be a Palm Pre/Apple iPhone killer sometime in the 2nd quarter of 09.
The whisper is this new HTC mobile handset will sport a large touchscreen which will outclass any screen in HTC’s present mobile phone portfolio, big claims indeed.
Further rumour has it this Pre/iPhone killer will sport a customized version of the Android OS which features HTC specific enhancements. Well, to be honest it’s virtually every month some whisper hits the net of a new superphone that will outshine the Apple iPhone and still nothing has arrived, so let’s just wait and see.
