Nokia Locate Sensor tracks and locates your possessions

Under: Accessories, Nokia Date: January 14th, 2009

Nokia not only introduced mobile phones at CES 2009 they also unveiled a project of their R&D arm the Nokia Locate Sensor, which has been designed to help users keep track of their stuff so they never lose anything again.

The Nokia Locate Sensor is fairly easy to use all the user has to do is attaching the physical wireless location tag to their wallet, keys or just about anything, and when you can’t find them the application will bring up their location.

The Nokia Locate Sensor actually allows the user to keep track of up to 100 items, which should be plenty. The Nokia Locate Sensor doesn’t rely on GPS but sends out a wireless signal which is traceable via mobile phone with a distance of up to 100 metres and should be available sometime during 09.
