A few days ago we heard that the Kogan Agora had been shelved for the foreseeable future which leaves our Aussie buddies high and dry without a Google Android based mobile phone.

Maybe the Australians could hit eBay or import an Android to Aussie soil but that would be fairly expensive, but all is not lost as apparently a technical document spotted by ZDNet Australia shows that the HTC G1 is heading for Australia.

So there you go, the people down under will gain an Android G1, but the big question is when? If the document it indeed real I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
