The Apple iPhone has now gained Clear Standards Carbon Tracker application, which is a free GPS enabled carbon footprint app.

With Carbon Taracker for the Apple iPhone installed the iPhoner can calculate the carbon footprint of daily commuting, business trips, and times away, vacations.

The Apple iPhone’s GPS is utilised to approximate the travelling distance between each trip, and the iPhoner can also set a monthly maximum emission goal and watcher their progress up against set targets. With Carbon Tracker for the iPhone there is also the ability to select the preferred measurements of distance and the amount of carbon emission.
