Firefly the parental control mobile phone for kids

Under: Mobile Phones, News Date: January 30th, 2009

Seems we have a few new mobile phones coming to light designed especially for the kids recently, and we have one here today called the Firefly.

The Firefly has been designed for middle school kids and is roughly the same shape and size of a standard candy-bar but has a backpack clip and lanyard.

The Firefly offers n .8 inch diagonal screen with caller ID, no keypad, no camera and no moving parts, but can be customised with skins and cases. The Firefly has a button which auto-calls 911 when required and parents can control the number of calls made via a PIN.

The Firefly mobile phone costs $49.00 when purchased with a service or you can buy it outright for just $100.00.
