Video: Google offline Gmail for Android and Apple iPhone

Under: Mobile Phone Video News, Phone Software
Date: February 19th, 2009

Google has recently come up with offline Gmail for your desktop, but it’s just about to get even better because during a keynote by Google VP of engineering Vic Gundotra, he has indicated that the same function may just be making its way to the Apple iPhone and the Android platform.

The new overhauled app will feature a new interface along with support for labels and offline access which is apparently made possible via HTML5 standards AppCache.

No doubt this function will take some time to hit the Apple iPhone as we are all aware how much Apple likes other people messing with iPhone apps. But we have a video for you below to give you the general idea.
