While at Mobile World Congress 2009, LG took the chance to show off their own concept solar powered mobile phone, just so Samsung didn’t hog all the limelight with their Blue Earth phone.

Unfortunately LG haven’t even named their solar handset as yet, probably needs endless amounts of consultants and high powered meeting to concoct a suitable name.

All we do know about this LG solar concept mobile handset that is it can apparently drag three minutes of power from a charge of ten minutes in the sunshine. No idea when we are actually likely to see it hit the streets though.
