The LG Versa mobile phone is headed for Verizon Wireless and should be available as of the 1st of March for $249.99 on contract and with a $50.00 mail in rebate.

The neat trick with the LG Versa mobile handset is that you can use the device as a normal smartphone with it’s touchscreen, but when it comes to power texting and emailing or even note taking you simply snap on the LG Versa’s included cover to give a full QWERTY keyboard at your disposal.

When the case is close, no problem as the case incorporates its own OLED display. The LG Versa also features EV-DO Rev.A with tethering, face detection, 2 megapixel camera, video recording, GPS and microSD expansion.
