The Google Android HTC Magic smartphone will be released in the United Kingdom in April, Vodafone has announced, and Vodafone is to launch a new website for the HTC Magic which will reveal specs and details and offer registration for updates and price info.

Vodafone plans on shipping the HTC Magic in various colours across Europe, with the United Kingdom gaining a white HTC Magic along with Spain and France, while Germany will see a black version and Italy will see both black and white versions.

The HTC Magic is the 2nd mobile handset to offer the Android platform and includes a 3.2 inch QVGA touchscreen, HSDPA, GPRA, WiFi, GPS, 4 megapixel camera with auto-focus, Google Maps and Search and microSD.
