Telefonica’ Movistar is to exclusively deliver the Palm Pre in Spain, the United Kingdom, and Latin America “before summer” reports Spanish newspaper Expansion.

This means that here in the UK the Palm Pre will be offered exclusively not by Vodafone as first expected but by O2 a subsidiary of Telefonica.

Movistar, another subsidiary of Telefonica will hold the exclusive right to the Palm Pre in many Latin American countries.

As for that “before summer” quote, well we’re not too sure if it is a translation of the original article or just a rumour as Palm hasn’t yet issued any formal official statement, so I’ll guess will have to wait and see.
