The word is O2 UK will be introducing a 24 month tariff plan for the Apple iPhone 3G as of the 3rd of April which will enable customer to gain the Apple iPhone 3G for free on lower tariff rates.

According to O2 they are bringing in this new 24 month iPhone plan for the subscribers who are “looking for added value in return for added commitment.”

Those people who wish to take advantage of the new tariff and register will gain a free Apple iPhone 3G 8GB for £34.25 a month while the Apple iPhone 3G 16GB will be for free on £44.05 a month.
