Android Devices and Apple iPhone gets new Gmail Engine

Google has announced a new Gmail for mobile for the Apple iPhone and the Android web browser. Google stated that the new Gmail Engine is a lot faster when opening mail, searching and navigating and also features the ability to open recently viewed mail if a network connection is lost.

The new Gmail for mobile enables the user to tackle their inbox much faster, and now when you select a message a “floaty bar” appears giving the user the options to delete, archive and more.

Furthermore Google has improved on the feel and look of Gmail for mobile with easier readable labels which are now more in-line with the desktop Gmail. We have a short video demonstration of Gmail for iPhone and Android below.
