Apple iPhone app rejected due to iPhone like icon?

It appears Apple has rejected another application for the Apple iTunes App Store, and according to a report over on techcrunch, iPhone app developers are becoming increasingly annoyed.

Apparently developer Marco Arment who has already had several apps approved, submitted v1.4 of Instapaper several days ago and has just received a rejection. The reason for the rejection is the developer used a small icon within the app which looks like it could be an iPhone.

V1.4 of Instapaper for the Apple iPhone isn’t the first to be rejected because of this as Pocket God iPhone game received the same treatment last week, but apparently the rule is not always enforced
