We first heard about the Firestone in HTC’s roadmap which was leaked back in March. This had an estimated release date of September.

A few specifications include 3.6 WVGA display, 8 mega pixel camera, 256 MB of RAM, 512 MB ROM 600 Mhz processor to name a few.

The above may be a little dated, so we’ve a few more features to add on including a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi, GPS and G-sensor. The style of the Firestone looks a lot like the WiMAX MAX 4G but having a smaller screen. Unfortunately you wont be seeing this anytime soon in North America however, if you live somewhere else and like the look, the release date of the Firestone has been brought forward to August.
