The word according to pocket-lint is that at Nokia World 2009 in Stuttgart, Nokia demonstrated a new Nokia mobile phone which delivers a 3D effect with the need for special 3D glasses.

This new Nokia 3D technology was demonstrated on a Nokia N810 but is not the planned launch platform for this technology which offers rudimentary 3D on a mobile handheld device.

Apparently Nokia has been working on 3D phones for “several years,” but Nokia Research can not predict when the public arena will see a launch window for the technology.
