Following the recent unveiling of the Sony Ericsson X2, the Japanese – Swedish handset maker have launched the Panel SDK in order to encourage developers to do what they are good at for Sony Ericsson.

Using the Panel SDK which incidentally has a tool called a Panelizer developers can turn their mobile app into homescreen panel’s for the XPERIA 2 just with the click of a button. The Panelizer lets devs turn ’Flash, Java and Windows Mobile applications into home screen panels that we have grown to love on the XPERIA X1 and now the X2.
