FCC gives approval to Android HTC Tattoo

Under: Mobile Phones
Date: September 23rd, 2009

The 4th in the line of HTC Android mobile phones has new received RF emission approval by the FCC. The fourth HTC Android handset, coming after the HTC Dream, HTC Magic and HTC Hero is the new HTC Tattoo according to an article on engadget mobile.

FCC documentation shows the model name as “CLIC100” which means it was formerly known as the “Click” and the “100” code shows that the HTC Tattoo is the first model with quad-band GSM/DEGE/HSDPA 900/2100.

We’re not too sure if an HTC Tattoo 850/1900 3G variant for North America is in the pipeline, but until then you can play along with the 2.5G HTC Tattoo.
