Samsung has announced the Samsung SCH-W880 cameraphone for Korea, and Samsung looks to be pitching the Samsung SCH-W880 as a possible alternative for point and shoot digital cameras reports the Samsung Hub.
Apparently a tipster notified on the subject and clearly indicated that the Samsung SCH-W800 has more selling points than the high resolution camera sensor with optical zoom and features a 12 megapixel camera, dedicated camera button, HD video recording, that 3x optical zoom and mode dial which is usually found in digital cameras.
Other features of the Samsung SCH-W880 that are known is that the handset sports a 3.3 inch WVGA AMOLED touch screen display, and probable some WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and maybe a microSD slot.
