BlackBerry Smartphones to gain Adobe Full Flash Player

Research In Motion along with Adobe Systems have announced a join venture to deliver the Adobe Flash Player support to the BlackBerry smartphone platform reports an article over on Reuters.

Apparently the BlackBerry smartphone maker is now joining the Open Screen Project which is a broad initiative that is dedicated to enabling standalone apps along with richer web browsing across mobile phones, desktops, TVs and other consumer products via the Adobe Flash platform.

This joint venture between Adobe Systems and Research In Motion is expected to deliver the full Flash Player browser runtime to RIM’s BlackBerry smartphones.
