Windows Mobile 6.5 has just been officially announced by Microsoft earlier today.

HTC Pure and Pharos Traveler 137 have been tried and tested and the general opinion is that Microsoft has disappointed greatly with this release. There seems to have been a lot more leaked than what was actually released So we can only really assume that there will be some upcoming updates.

Generally the thoughts are that the Spb Mobile Shell 3.5 gives a much nicer experience on the Touch Pro2 than Windows Mobile 6.5 ever could. We were expecting a whole lot more than what Microsoft actually delivered, maybe our expectations were too high, we wanted to be able to place icons where we wanted them on the start displays, we wanted finger friendly menus throughout the whole OS and of course we wanted some amendments to the media player.
