Windows Mobile 7 to hit in Spring 2010?

Windows Mobile 6.5 has now hit the mobile phone market and so Microsoft moves on to focus on developing Windows Mobile 7 with an expected manufacturing time allocated to sometime in November this year with the first Windows Mobile 7 handsets to launch in April 2010 reports softpedia.

The latest info emerging provides a slide from a Microsoft presentation in August which shows Windows Mobile 7 should hit RTM in the spring of 2010, thus basically Microsoft will have pushed the OEMs roughly 1 year after Windows Mobile 6.5 reached the same.

The original RTM timeframe was pushed back about 6 months and if following this pattern, we can expect to see the first Windows Mobile 7 sporting mobile phones reach the mobile arena 6 months later, thus a September/October window is what to look for.
