Samsung has now announced their developer challenge contest whereby they challenge developers to create the best apps following the launch of the Samsung Applications Store in selected counties reports gsmarena.

The 2 winning applications in the Samsung Developer Challenge will both be awarded the grand prize of a really cool US$100,000 each.

The Samsung Developer Challenge is excepting submissions of apps for the i8000 Omnia II in English or Italian as of the 16th of November until the 10th of December. Runners up will split 4 US$10,000 prizes, 10 US$5,000, and 20 US$2,000 prizes. The single condition is that developers need to register for selling paid apps in the Samsung Seller site.
