Once touted as the be-all end-all iPhone killer, the Palm Pre apparently has a pixel problem as the examiner has returned their Palm Pre after noticing 3 bright red dead pixels in the middle of the display, and they say the replacement Palm Pre was even worse.

The replacement Palm Pre had 7 dead pixels, and when they returned that unit they were given another Palm Pre which still had 4 dead pixels, and now a question of quality control comes to mind.

They ran a survey of 10 Best Buy stores in Las Vegas and California along with several Sprint stores on the subject of dead pixels and all but 2 reported more than 10 exchanges and returns had taken place due to dead pixels.
