Motorola has now launched Australia’s first ATEX and IECEx certified digital radio, the Motorola MTP850Ex TETRA according to an article on prwire.
The Motorola MTP850Ex TETRA combines the benefits of a digital radio including voice, text and digital exclusive apps with the heist level of international safety ratings thus making the Motorola MTP850Ex TETRA the only IECEz certified mobile handset in the 800MHz band certified for use in hazardous conditions in Australia.
Motorola is to demo the Motorola MTP850Ex TETRA at a series of launch events this week in Queensland, the Northern Territory and Western Australia.
