According to a rather short article over on the Boy Genius Report, they have heard that the new HTC Droid Eris which is expected to launch on the 6th of November will sport a 528MHz Qualcomm processor along with Android 1.5 operating system.

They then say look for the other HTC device to kick things up a notch. And that’s the lot on their HTC Droid Eris Specs post, just the processor and OS.

However, commenters do seem somewhat upset at this 528MHz processor as the Verizon Droid packs in a 550MHz processor, but then that also comes with Android 2.0.
